Logistics & delivery

Supply and delivery coordinated around your order.

Delivery scope and responsibilities are agreed for each transaction. Some buyers want the goods at a named destination; others prefer to take them at an agreed loading point and arrange onward transport themselves. Both can be discussed.

What you can discuss with us

Two ways to take delivery.

You arrange the transport

We can discuss supply from an agreed origin, loading point or warehouse, leaving you to arrange onward transport with your own forwarder.

We coordinate delivery

Where it is feasible for the product and the route, transport coordination to an agreed destination can be included in the offer.

Points we work through

  • Supply from an agreed origin or loading location.
  • Buyer-arranged onward transport, where you prefer to control the freight.
  • Transport coordination to an agreed destination.
  • Packaging and handling requirements for the product and route.
  • Temperature-controlled transport needs, where applicable to the product.
  • Shipment documentation coordination with the relevant supplier.

Set out in the quotation

The agreed quotation determines the scope.

Rather than publishing terms that may not apply to your product or route, these points are fixed in writing for each transaction.

Delivery scope and responsibilities

Available Incoterms and delivery arrangements depend on the product, route and destination. The quotation identifies who handles freight, customs clearance, import licensing, documentation and other delivery responsibilities. Where a licensed broker or carrier is required, that function is performed by the appropriate service provider.

Temperature-controlled products. Handling conditions differ by product: some catalogue lines are listed for chilled handling, some for frozen or chilled, some for frozen only, and fresh produce is listed as ventilated with a set point confirmed by item. The requirement for your specific order is taken from the product specification, not assumed across the catalogue.

Tell us where it needs to go.

Give us the destination country and city or port, and whether you would prefer to collect at an agreed loading point or have delivery coordinated. We will build the offer around that.
